The Lodge nestles between stonefruit orchards, vineyards and granite boulders, right in the middle of Ballandean, the centre of Queenslands temperate Granite Belt.

Ballandean Lodge offers you bed and breakfast accommodation of a high standard. Choose your accommodation from three tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished queen, all with an ensuite bathroom. There is a special view from each part of the verandah, where you can relax, listen to the native birdlife and enjoy the sunset.

The guests wing includes a lounge and dining room with a log fire for those pleasantly chilly Granite Highland winter evenings.

Your tarriff includes a traditional full breakfast served in the dining room. Evening meals are provided by arrangement, or you can also experience the local cuisine. At the Ballandean Lodge meals can be served by arrangement.

Amenities : :	100 year old Queensland home set on 6 acres. Nestles amongst vineyards and stone fruit orchards of Queenslands Granit Belt. 10 minutes from National Parks, in amongst wineries. Dinner and packed lunches available on request. Pets and children are by arrangement. There are three pets in residence.

About The Area : :	Wine tours, fishing, music festivals, fresh locally grown produce, golfing escapes ? all can be found in the Southern Downs and Granite Belt region. There are over 40 wineries and cellar doors located throughout the region, many of which are centred around the idyllic town of Stanthorpe. Your bed and breakfast hosts can organize a winery tour for you upon request leaving you free to eat and drink to your heart?s content. Spend a couple of nights in the region and explore Girraween National Park, the Goomburra State Forest Reserve, Cunningham?s Gap or Queen Mary Falls. Directions to Find Establishment : :	To get to Ballandean Lodge from the town of Ballandean turn down Eukey Road, right down Jacobsen Road, then left down Rees Road. You will find Ballandean Lodge on the left. The Lodge is 3km from the Ballandean Post Office, where you turn off the highway.
