You won't want to leave Crater Lakes Rainforest Holiday Cottages. These rainforest cottages are set amongst a magnificent rainforest with a variety of wildlife and spectacular waterfalls. Take an Australian Bush Walk through a World Heritage Rainforest. Stay alert and you'll spot a musky rat kangaroo, a platypus in a secluded stream, a bird of Paradise, the Riflebird displaying his bright colours for his mate . All this can be yours!

Booking Policy : :	If 2 weeks or more notice of cancellation is given, your deposit is refunded, less a cancellation fee of $20. If less than 2 weeks notice is given, refund is subject to cottage reletting. All cancellations must be made in writing. A Deposit is required to secure your booking. We require $100 for a one night booking, or equal to the first night if you are staying longer. Credit Card - we accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Diners. Cheque or money order - after your booking, the deposit needs to arrive within 7 days.

About The Area : :	Cairns, Port Douglas, the Daintree Rainforest, Cape Tribulation, Cooktown, Kuranda ? just where do you start? Here you have the perfect mix ? Cairns providing the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and an underwater world that knows no boundaries ? the Daintree and Cape Tribulation providing magnificent World Heritage listed rainforest areas that are literally thousands of years old. Take the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway or scenic train to the magical town of Kuranda with its many art, craft and food stalls. You can also travel west to the Atherton Tablelands and enjoy country hospitality the likes of which could never be found in any mainstream city, or travel south to the town of Mission Beach. Directions to Find Establishment : :	Start your gradual climb up to the Tablelands from Gordonvale, south of Cairns. The temperature drops, and the air becomes fresher — a welcome break from the coastal heat. The range trip offers some spectacular views, especially from Heales Lookout. When you reach the top of the range, the rolling green hills of the Atherton Tablelands stretch out before you. Approx 10 minutes from the top of the range is the turnoff to Lake Eacham. Follow the signs to our accommodation, 500m past the lake.
