Bankside B&B is located in a modern park-and-wetland suburb just 5km from Melbourne CBD and 15 minutes from Melbourne Airport. Quiet location with views.

Flemington Racecourse (home of the Melbourne Cup) is within easy walking distance. Public transport is within a short walk across the park.

Privacy + Modern Living

At Bankside B&B you will be the only guests and will have the run of the house and use of all facilities.

The contemporary townhouse uses open-plan living spaces:

courtyard: breakfast setting + barbecue
laundry facilities
middle floor: bedroom and private bath and toilet
top floor: guests-only large loft room (TV, DVD, stereo, library) + balcony.
Pets welcome – ask when booking.

The front door of Bankside B&B opens to 5 hectares of parkland with extensive pedestrian and cycle paths along the Maribrynong River. There is privacy and seclusion, unusual for a property so close to the CBD. It is eight minutes and two stops by train to the centre of Melbourne. Tram and bus transport is also available. There are no car noises or passing traffic.

There are laundry facilities as well as modern kitchen facilities, as well as a second TV lounge area on the ground floor with leather lounge suite. The property is about 4 years old and is built with security and safety in mind. There is central heating and good quality linen, crockery and toiletries.

The house is well appointed with good quality, tasteful furnishings, granite benches in the kitchen. The Tuscan-style courtyard is a dream – a blue ceramic water feature, lemon tree, olive tree and lots of greenery and ceramic tiles on the ground and high fences for privacy.
