Nestled in the Rainforest Ambience Cottages & B&B has four luxurious, large, 3 room, self contained cottages and three B&B suites.

We serve evening nibbles on arrival and a delicious, 4 course gourmet breakfast in the morning. Want to detox - call us and organise a detox weekend. Our last detox client lost 4 kg in a week. Go to the local dayspa or get a massage. Eat healthy and relax.

Take over the place! We also welcome groups of friends or wedding parties to book with us and pride ourselves on our provision of first class service to all who stay.

Swim in our pool in summer or relax in front of the fire in our delightful lounge/dining area on cool winter nights.

Fancy a dinner on arrival - you don't have to go out. Be served a candlelight dinner in your cottage or room. Try our slow cooked lamb shanks in a red wine jus on a bed of mash accompanied by a warm green bean salad drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. How about chicken breast on the bone poached in an NZ Sav Blanc? Or our stunning American Style BBQ spare ribs with baby potatoes in lime butter and wild rocket salad. Desert is our sticky date pudding - we have been told that 'it's to die for'. Just be sure to book ahead.

We're also close to everything. Located in Mount Tamborine it is a 400 metres to Curtis Falls rainforest walk, a 10 minute walk to Gallery Walk or North Tamborine shops and cafes. The area is also host to a number of vineyards, wineries, cheesemakers and brewers. Tours are available for all. Visitors can visit a variety of weekend markets. Bushwalkers have the choice of many walks in the regions National Parks ranging from simple to difficult.

We will take pets if pre arranged.

Amenities : :	All cottages and suites have fires, spas, 4 poster beds, air conditioning, cosy microfibre robes, DVD & CD players, a substantial eclectic DVD library, lounge areas and verandahs.
Events : :	In June, July and August we provide Yulefest Christmas dinners to our guests including a 3 course meal, mulled wine and lots of Christmas Karaoke.

Booking Policy : :	We require a deposit of one night's accomodation. For 2 night plus bookings. If you cancel within 2 weeks of arrival we will bill you for one nights accommodation. If you cancel within 1 week we will bill you for 2 nights accommodation. If, on arrival, you change the length of your stay we will bill you for those days. For one night bookings we will charge you the full night rate if you cancel within 1 week of arrival.

About The Area : :	The Gold Coast Hinterland is easily reached by taking a short 45 minute drive from Brisbane or a 15 minute drive from the Gold Coast. It?s simply amazing how such a tranquil and serene destination has escaped everyone?s attention for so long. You can sip a glass of champagne on the ridge at Eagle Heights, Mount Tamborine whilst gazing down at the twinkling lights and the hustle and bustle of Surfer?s Paradise in the distance. Listen and you?re sure to hear the Kookaburra?s gaggling in the 1000 year old Eucalyptus trees surrounding you. The village of Mount Tamborine is home to many craft shops and stalls. You can also savour the best of the local produce at the many restaurants and local wineries in the region. [more info]

Directions to Find Establishment : :	Take the M1 from either Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Leave the Motorway at 'Exit 57' and then follow the Tamborine/Oxenford Road for approximatley 20km. At the top of the mountain, turn right at the roundabout with the big Fig Tree in the middle. This is the main tourist area of Tamborine Mountain called 'Gallery Walk'. Drive slowly accross Gallery Walk until you reach a second roundabout and then turn right. This is Eagle Heights Road. Follow this for one km and look for our driveway through the rainforest. Our driveway is framed by two red flags
