Witches Falls Cottages are unique, delightfully different cottages for couples tucked away in the mountains behind the Gold Coast on the western edge of Tamborine Mountain. Each cottage has a stone gable, bullnose veranda and is split level, polished timber floors, cosy fireplaces and a double spa ensure a comfortable and luxurious stay. Breakfast is delivered to your veranda and Dinner is served in the surprisingly different Ozen Dining Room. The Cottages are nestled among flowering scented gardens and tall Rose Gums bordering Witches Falls National Park, the oldest National Park in QLD.

The mountain is a plateau of lush green rural countryside dotted with avocado orchards and rainforest, 9 National Parks, a coffee plantation, a boutique Distillery and several Wineries, two of which are just a short walk down the road. A stroll from your cottage along the edge of the escarpment takes you to the Lions Lookout to enjoy drop-off views and magnificent sunsets.

Location Text : :	Tamborine Mountain is a table top mountain 550 meters above sea level and located just behind the Gold Coast. Witches Falls Cottages is located on the western escarpment right in the middle of Tamborine Mountain. From our place you can walk through the Witches Falls National Park picnic ground, and enjoy the hour rainforest circuit of Queensland’s Oldest NP, from which we draw our name.

About The Area : :	The Gold Coast Hinterland is easily reached by taking a short 45 minute drive from Brisbane or a 15 minute drive from the Gold Coast. It?s simply amazing how such a tranquil and serene destination has escaped everyone?s attention for so long. You can sip a glass of champagne on the ridge at Eagle Heights, Mount Tamborine whilst gazing down at the twinkling lights and the hustle and bustle of Surfer?s Paradise in the distance. Listen and you?re sure to hear the Kookaburra?s gaggling in the 1000 year old Eucalyptus trees surrounding you. The village of Mount Tamborine is home to many craft shops and stalls. You can also savour the best of the local produce at the many restaurants and local wineries in the region. [more info]

Directions to Find Establishment : :	When coming south from Brisbane or north through Nerang, exit the motorway at the Oxenford offtake ramp (Exit 57), drive along the Oxenford - Tamborine road until you get to the top of the plateau and you will find us on the corner of Hartley and Main Western Road
